Yes by Hunter I mean Hunter Hayes, but I don’t see him as “The Hunter Hayes”. I see him as Hunter, the dork who has been my bff since diaper days.
And the boy I’m madly in love with.
Wait what? Who said that? Ok fine you got me. I’m in love with my best friend. I know kinda cliché isn’t it? Especially since he doesn’t love me back. Anyway right now we are heading to our park for a picnic. Our park isn’t really a park though it’s more like this meadow in the valley.
*15 minutes later*
We arrived at our park finally.
“Come on, let’s set up,” Hunter said.
*After setting up*
“Let’s eat! Please Hunter!! I’m starving!!” I exclaimed as I dramatically fell to the ground clutching my stomach.
“Of course you are you pig! I swear you eat more than me!” Hunter says with a smirk.
“Wipe that smirk off your face Hayes!” I exclaim sarcastically.
“Fine. Fine. Come on now let’s eat!”
*After eating*
“Wanna start playing yet pop star?” I question after packing up.
“It’s country star, not pop star. And sure let’s,” he corrected me. (yet again)
“You start,” I say.
He puts on his cute thinking face and racked his brain for a song.
“Oh I know! Um… can you let me play this one by myself though?”
I was confused but I agreed.
“Ok. Thanks. Listen to the lyrics carefully ok?” He says hesitantly.
He seemed nervous to play. Which doesn’t make sense considering his job.

The song was Falling for you by Colbie Caillat. His voice was so passionate and soothing that I almost forgot to listen to the lyrics. Almost. By the end of the song I was so confused. Why did he sing that song? Did this mean he liked me back?

I cut him off by smashing my lips to his. Let me tell you this. Sparks were everywhere. It was amazing. At first he was tense probably because of the shock but soon enough he relaxed and kissed me back. When we pulled away, I was breathless.
“You talk too much, dork,” I say with a small smile. “But you’re my dork.”
